Save our School

I don't know if any of you guys heard, but they are planning to make our school into a 2 year vocational school. Even though this won't affect me, I still feel wrong about it. My brother will not be the 2012 graduating class which is very disappointing because the tech classes that Benson has provided is really great and gives the students wonderful experience.

During class students starting ranting about how stupid the school administration is and its just not fair. On the news I saw Mr. Diss say that they are only targeting Benson because there are a lot of minorities. Yes, there are a lot of minorities, its a big mixing bowl here. During the walk out a lot of the students just started dancing and sht....like seriously? You're going to represent our school by dancing like a complete idiot in front of the cameras? All they want is attention...-_- any ways....after that it started raining and these gray clouds rolled in. It seemed as if some how even though we all gathered here as a community, some how, I just feel like this is not going to work. What has been decided has been decided. Sure, we can write up as many petitions as we can, but the school board has made their decision. But I'll tell you one thing, I'm not going to give up. Benson has been here for 90 years...this up coming Thursday and Friday is our tech show. I'm looking forward to alumni and my friends to come and support us.

Summer

Its approaching, this year went by pretty fast. I met some amazing people, made new friends, went to HOSA conference...but most of all I met you and all the struggles and shit we've been through is worth it.
Its been a month, lets make it longer. <3

Packed for HOSA conference, but somehow I don't feel ready at all. I did some of my medical reading and career display, but somehow I feel incomplete. Today I had a match against Franklin and it was pretty good. Won my match, it was a sunny day, I need tennis sun glasses....

Everything is complicated right now, I don't know where we are going and if we are going to even make it. But, might as well enjoy the ride. Right babe? (=

Just got back from OSU. I'm tired, but it was so fun. The professors were really nice, they though we were the most efficient group Eames got. We went out for Chinese food and it was so good. Afterwards we went to Fredmeyers to get stuff. Then we went to the hotel room, it was pretty nice and they actually had a microwave & fridge. Then we went to the lab, it was nice. We did Phenotype and Genotype testing on E. Coli.

Afterwards we went back inside to the hotel, I was gonna go swimming but I was to lazy. =T We played cards, listened to asian music, played truth and dare. Woke up in the morning had a nice breakfast and went back to lab. Had a big ass lunch! Hells yeah! Then went shopping at the OSU book store, got this killer t-shirt and orange shorts. C=
